misadventures at harvard medical school

Category: sitestuff

I’m back!

¡Hola amigos! I’ve finally returned to Lima after approximately a month back in the U.S. The current plan is that I’ll be in Peru until July, at which time I’ll return to the U.S. to prepare for medical school.
I hope the next six months in Peru are as wonderful as the my first three months [...]

Maggie Mischief

Hi there, if you happen to come by this site (which means you’re probably one of my family members, but we’ll pretend I have copious, anonymous readership anyway) and like “Maggie’s Musings” below, check out her new blog. She’s a funny gal.

Africa Mocks Me

This is a map of my site’s traffic since February. I get about 5-10 unique visits per day. Among continents, only Africa is missing. And Antarctica. But it doesn’t count.

We’ve got issues!

Why is my blog not working on IE7? This I do not know. Oh, you fickle Microsofts! How you and your quirky browser taunt me so!

Mon Répertoire

Thanks to Ian Purton, I’ve now got a list of previous blog entries on the right menu bar. This addition also took an embarrassing long amount of time to implement. That is all.

Stop All the Down-loadin’

My new computer. Specs: Dell Inspiron E1405, Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 1.66GHz (2MB Cache), 2GB RAM, 120GB Hard Drive, Windows Vista™ Home Premium. I was thinking about going Mac, but they’re pretty expensive.

Yay! Safari Bugs Fixed

No more .png transparency problems in Safari thanks to hicksdesign’s wonderful suggestion of using 2×2 images here.
No overlay issues on the menu — I’ve corrected the z-index values.
Super good.

No More Crickey!

Photobook works now. Really exciting stuff.

Ah, Crickey!

My Photobook has just gone down this afternoon as FAlbum’s Flickr API key has expired. (Lots of jargon, I know. In short — it’s not my fault.)
I do have new photos, however. Check them out at http://flickr.com/photos/22381174@N00…
Super good.
