My beautiful, smart, and hilarious little sister turns 21 today. But no matter her age, she’ll always be my little sister.
These pictures remind me of my favorite Beatles song, the inimitable In My Life. John Lennon and Paul McCartney both loved it as well, and it later became the only song in the entire Lennon/McCartney catalogue in which the duo disagreed on who was the principle songwriter.
There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain…Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
